Did a little test today but I did not notice any major loss of grip behind some one. I've attached a replay file. I tried to keep as close as possible, but I was racing with someone who dind't know that is was testing (sorry A. Lojelo ).

To bad that at the end of the replay, we had some bad collision detection.

UPDATE: Last night RSC was overloaded so I couldn't attach the replay file anymore. You now can download it here

A other thing I've encountered is a ghost car on the track or in the pits actually, I tried to exit the pits more then once but every time it hit something invisible, when I was watching the replay there actually was a car parked in front of my pit box.

The person driving the car probably already left, but his car was still invisible on in the pits, I've heard of this problem before in 1.03 but never encounted it myself until today that is.

Attached a edited replay of the bug.

That is supposed to be normal loss of downforce? you have to keep some distance for df to work.

I really don't know what's normal IRL I was just replying squasseL comment who said that the loss of downforce made it impossible to drive close in the F2000/Target. I didn't notice any of that behavior.

(Updated the above post and attached the replay file)

Found a new bug today, apparently it's possible to drive a F2000 in a F1600 race. Attached an replay edit of it. The guy left before I could ask him how he did it.

I'm locked to 32 fps since today too, didn't change anything on the driver side, yesterday it still worked and today it decided to limit it. Can't restart my machine right now but I thought it's worth to report it since I'm sure that nothing is different, so maybe it isn't a driver problem after all? Will report back once I've got the chance to reboot.

edit: no clue what was causing it, but a simple reboot solved my problem

I got a error after refreshing the serverlist coming back from another server.

Are you sure with the FF2000 on a FF1600 server that it was not a multicar server?

No don't think so....
By the way I have never seen a multicar server in nkp but and as far I can see I don't see where you can select the car you want to drive when clicking on a server, like in nkp 1.03.

I have a problem with multiple shadows of the car, scattered all over the track etc. - see screenshot. Problem occurs no matter which car & track I use. Tried different resolutions (1440x900 / 1680x1050), Fullscreen on/off and Vsync on/off without any difference. No such problem with v1.03.

System:
Athlon64 x2 3800
ATI 1950 Pro 512MB (AGP version)
2GB Kingston DDR1

Very interesting bug.

Did you try to install the latest ATi driver? Are you sure you didn't copy too much .ini files from the old 1.0.3 install? Copy/paste files can cause problems like this.

Anyway, please all your bugs also using the ingame 'Report a bug' feature. This way Kunos gets to see them all.

Thought posting here was preferred since I could attach a screenshot. Should i report it with the 'Report a bug' feature aswell?

Anyways: No, I have an older driver for sure since all the latest drivers don't run as good on older cards. I might try one out for you some time later. Will report back then.
1.1 beta is a separate install. Just loaded 1.03 afterwards to check if it isn't giving me the same fault.

Problem solved. Installed the latest driver for my gfx card (ATI Catalyst 9.3 that is for a x1950) and the multiple shadows are gone. Running fine with this driver as far as I can tell.

Don't know if it's a bug (or if it suppose to act like that):
But when I put the F1600 in first gear I have to give some gas to keep it running. (clutch is off course fully pressed)

Wheel : G25
Auto clutch is : off
Simple gear : off

Something else I just noticed. When driving in reverse the speed on the mychron is displayed as negative speed. It's also like this in 1.0.3. Shouldn't it be positive?

Clutch doesn't work Katsu. It was driving me crazy that it stalled every time I spun even though I threw the clutch out. Auto clutch should be on, at least for the time being. I did report it as a bug.
It's as if Kunos doesn't think many people use the clutch. Report it.

Stefano once said to someone who complained the the FF didn't come in at slow speeds, "I'm making a racing sim, not a parking sim." I think he say to your observation "Why are you concerned with your speed going backwards? You should be going forwards"

In my every day Renault, when i go backwards, speedo does the same. Made by italian company known under name "Veglia". Take it like this - going backwards you look back, not how fast you go. Well i'm trying to imagine how backwards driving looks in f1600. hmmm

Of course you should be going forward, But are you telling me you've never spun and had to use reverse? Was just something I saw and looked weird at first

My problem seems to have decided to install a new driver for sound card.

I've got the same sound card, 2ZS and 5:1 headphones. My windows setup is 5:1 surround sound and it works perfectly. (Well bully for you! ) Maybe with 2 speakers or 'normal' headset it needs to be on 2 speaker. Do you get any sounds?

EDIT: Just too late. Glad you sorted it.

Yup, I'm getting that every time now. Every time i try and close the error message another one pops up. I have to shut down netKar via Task Manager

.....
Mhhhhh, clutch is perfectly working here, G25 with BRD Speed 7 pedals, autoclutch off.

The only thing I have done (just like in every other simulation I use), during calibration I didn't fully press the pedal, but only of the amount corresponding at the point where the clutch is supposed to engage.

I do the same. I'm not proud, I'll give it another go.
