my dad told me that he took some pictures of the track and surroundings when they arrived and that at least the negatives should be available somewhere in his house. i turned almost everything upside down but couldn't find them. so they're probably lost
we're very busy atm but i hope we can find out something new as soon as the racing business gets a bit more quiet.

C'mon guys, let's not let this project die out (It sure seems like it is, unfortunately).

If you guys are looking for a circuit map and photos, maybe you should check with the local authorities and see if they have any info (that's something for Pine to do). Another good source of information would be the race organizers, if anybody knows who they were.

Thanks for caring Michael.
Actually we know what to do, it's just that we're too busy to do it at the moment. There's no way I'll be able to skip a day of work in order to spend it on this project in the coming few weeks, but I didn't forget about it and hopefully around April I'll have much more free time (and an M.Sc. degree )

Unbelievable.

Hello everyone.

You all are unbelievable.

If someone asked about the diameter of a bolt on the rear wing of a f3 car,

someone would know about it.

Unbelievable, but a lot of fun.

Keep up the excellent work.

Best regards.

Well, the amazing things keep happening: Duby Miller called me today, and he found another driver who raced in Ashkelon in 1970. Duby is going to send me the driver's phone number soon, but I really don't think I'll have time to talk to him before April. Still, another step in the right direction!

s-8 film should be ready for the weekend. then a copy goes to Duby (and Pine, if he wants _ Pine, would you like a copy? ) maybe i'll put some short clips online later.
it's very much a touristic movie, no racing scenes, but good views of the paddock area and a general impression of the landscape. the legendary Bell-Perrot-Brambilla-camel-and-donkey-ride is definitely worth to put online

Thanks for the offer Bob, but I will meet Duby some time soon so I'll simply watch the movie with him.
