Is it just me, or is that Lamborghini incredibly prone to overheating? Even with the radiator maxed out, I still get overheating warnings after about 3 flying laps or so.
It is stunning, though. |

Opened up the radiator to 5, ran an outlap at Monza, did one hot lap, then on the second, I got a radio warning "Shift less, you're overheating."
WTF. |

Maybe mention it over at Simbin in the bug thread Spinz. I know there is a problem with the Porsche engines blowing too easily that they are going to fix.
[actually, I just stopped in at Simbin and it looks as though the issue may already have been addressed. Theres a physics update posted there...] Last edited by Zevious Zoquis : 03-12-2002 at 19:40. |

Thanks for the pictures, and for the video Janezki. It's great to see them in action to get an idea of how the cars handle.

Indeed it was addressed this morning with the Ver 1.1 physics. Along with the 996's losing motors prematurely. Check in the offical forum at Simbin, it's pinned at the top. Thanks all Edit: oops, I guess I need an avatar --Doug |

FWIW - all shots were originally taken at 1280x960x32 with no AA and were cropped to help save a bit of bandwidth.

Quote:
Captured video (as uncompressed frames, around 30sec/clip) from F12002 replay in 640x480 window with Camtasia Recorder (www.techsmith.com). Edited, merged, cropped, etc. the clips in Adobe Premiere. New version of Fraps (www.fraps.com) has video capturing possibilities also (though haven't tried), and the prog is free.

I think I've got a copy of Hypercam somewhere, I guess that might work. Was wondering if there was something more integrated ( like the GPL tools ), but I guess not

Yes, well, a good camera control software for F12002 would be nice
Also, I miss all the data (speed, revs, laptime) at dashboard.
