recording of online racing replays will end on November 15th

in the following night the replays will be converted
i might be able to get a trailer done till monday, if the massive footage can be sighted in that short time

Hey Mister X, it's me, James G. I'm just wondering if you have recorded any drift races yet? Y'know, people are racing the road course, but using drift-style driving instead of the usual method. If you haven't recorded anything like that yet, I think we should try staging an Initial-D style battle! That would make for awesome filming for sure! Just throw in some Initial-D soundtrack tunes into your movie and there you go!

since end of recording is closing in and start of "post-production" is getting near (this friday) it might be time to think of a nice name
your suggestions are greatly welcome

i just closed down the server - we had some more great drag racing, but due to a bug replay has been lost
a new player connected, i changed car
replay didnt get that the new player joined i guess, since it gave out a "pit packet failed - a player is connecting" instead of making my car vanish... the new player wasnt there, his chat messages were without name and his car was invisible
the position updates still worked, but it displays a bouncing turbo when i was actually using my GTi...

damn id love to have a replay of that - i beat a turbo with rolling start and it looked really cool *g*

I'll post that drag replay tomorrow (it's 23:59 now, so technically I do mean tomorrow.. doh now its 00:00.. ill post it today) in the afternoon.

my problem is that i hafta work all day till i come home in the evening, and then theres my gf and my buddies, and well yeah then theres LFS.... so theres not too much time left for making a video

i will do what i can, expect a trailer to be out soon (soon as in "within a week" )

1. whatever program works for you do you mean programs for recording or editing? a variety of programs is used in the production of this LFS movie, i.e. pinnacle studio 7/8, adobe premiere 6.5, adobe photoshop, cinema4D XL, goldwave, ... (just to name a few )

2. you need some analogue coolie hat device (like most better joysticks have) or a motion tracking vr headset (like almost noone can afford ) to do this
maybe you can modify a normal joystick or wheel to function like one...

3. just put it in in your avi editing program... usually dragging any audio file into the timeline does the job - but if you dont know how to do this maybe you shouldnt consider doing a LFS movie

atm i'm collecting mostly drift racing
recording will mainly take place on my server ("misterX GTi & GT") but also on any server i join when theres nice scenes in a race
