1) Just select both qualification and race files,
2) or enter path to logs folder and press "Auto-scan" button.

Thanks for your answer!

I see! I didn't think that it is possible to select both XMLs at once.

If you don't mind another question:
The only rFactor XMLs that can be selected by AutoSim Analyzer are qualifications' and races' XMLs, right?

Is it possible to create logs from replays? For some old races I have only replays, and no logs.

No way. At least I don't know how.

I don't know if adding a time penalty to a driver is among the features of AutoSim Analyzer but if not it would be great to add it!

Open race report windows, select a driver, right-click, select "Penalize". You can add some seconds to driver's race time, so he might loose some positions. BUT...
If driver A finishes in one lap with a winner, and driver B finishes right next to him, but driver B is overlapped by winner, then adding penalty to driver A will not change his position in final classification.

In your example the winner is neither driver A nor B, right?

If it is a bug what's the problem? Don't you add the penalty time to the race time?

It's not a bug, it's a side effect of final classification calculation process.

There are two cases:

1) Numbers of laps two drivers have done during the race are equal. Then their relative position depends only on their race time, so adding penalty might change the positions.

2) One of two drivers was overlapped by leader, so the numbers of laps they did during the race differ. Then their positions in final classification depend on numbers of laps they have done - the more laps, the better position, and no matter what their race times actually are.

If two drivers finish the race completing different number of laps the XML doesn't keep info for each ones total race time?

It does, but this time should't be taken into account if numbers of laps are different. It's a very common case when a driver with better finish position have greater race time than a driver with worse finish position, just because the first one has completed more laps. So comparing drivers' race times doesn't make sense in this situation.

alexzz you are absolutely right. My initial thoughts were wrong.

But for these cases (it could be used for any case though) it would be great if AutoSim Analyzer had a penalty system affecting drivers position directly among the existing penalty feature.

Any idea to get the Analyzer working with GTR Evo?
I think it's the best statistik tool (afaik) to analyze the log files and we had used it in our GTR2-league. But now we want start a new season in Evo.

PS: Sorry, it doesn't match the forum section (GTLegends) but no other thread for this tool exists.

It's about time I posted here and thanked alexzz for this wonderful tool.

I'm running a P&G league, and posting the results is just a dream.

Thanks for all your efforts on this.

Hello!

I'm using this wonderful tool for our Multisimulator Racing League,
It works just fine with GTR2 and rFactor.

But in Race07 the "Gaps graph" looks wrong,
after one lap all racers are in 1 spot

and looking in the logfiles it's obvious something is wrong,
all drivers have the same time after 1 lap

example this one:
