People, please keep your hands off photoshop if you can't respect the aesthetic value of this game! Find the beauty in the game and not in some overused ugly filter.
For those who do understand the purpose of this thread: great pics!

Jordy, you must have missed what I typed in my post:
"These are just some pics I made this afternoon, to see if I could make some realistic pictures, and ones that look comic book like. I'd say the GT500 with motion blur looks pretty real. But man... this is one REALLY good looking game "
Regardless, I will keep it to ingame screens in the future.

Quite interesting to look at the screenies in this thread and see different people's ideas of what makes a good screenie. I wonder if it's possible to write a "recipe" for a cool picture - here's my two cents
- use 32 bit colour and turn FSAA on
- try to make the pic look realistic, with the car in a realistic pose
- don't be afraid to crop your pic but keep the car within the frame if you can
- turn the debug dots and onscreen debug readouts off
- don't highlight Racer's bugs... smoke in particular looks crappy and FWD cars don't generate tyre smoke at the rear
- forget the postage-stamp-sized images, we want good detail!
- keep camera angles "real"... the diagonal thing is kinda old now...
- don't take one screenshot, take 20, and just pick the best
- forget the filters, it's great to be able to claim that this is an unedited in-game shot
- ignore all of the above whenever you like
Now, I'm no artist but IMHO you get better looking screenies if you work along those lines. What does everyone else think?

That's the track he's working on that we're all so anxiously awaiting. Check it out in the tracks-WIP section
NameX, how do you have 3 cars on the track at one time?
Seamus, I agree on the smoke, I was trying to get one with the new Boss. I took like 30 burnout pics (before everyone else did) and not one of them looked correct.
I'll post some pics as soon as I figure out what I want.
Cube, you got that Camaro in game yet?

even if you're on the right track, you'll still get run over if you just sit there.
