Happy Kleine Rennstrecke - A Strava Slot Track for GPL

Boy, it's been so long since I was here. Is this where I post new tracks for GPL

Another of my little slot track layouts done up for GPL.
A short 1.9 mile track that's fun and a just a bit challenging.
Great for FV & FD. A handful in a fullon F1

AND - - It comes with a GREAT BAPOM cover

Get it here:
Kleine Rennstrecke

Which inexplicably, isn't installed by default Go figure!

Anyways, the cover looks like this:

And, just in case you've already downloaded and installed the track, and deleted the installation files, you can get the cover (and the oh-so-crucial map pages ) from, well, you know...

OK, call me a dummy
Smack me around a bit

Then PLEASE go download kleine2.zip hereKleine Rennstrecke

The most important thing is it now has John's great cover & maps as the default install. (tho I did like my bwpic just a bit better )

It also includes some FPS optimization I did after creating the install zip that I completly forgot about

Mainly from deleting a lot of trees you couldn't see because of all the umm trees
And some fine tuning of the FB settings.

LOL jetman

I just did some laps in my Ferrari FD, but need to sort out the setup a bit more. I only managed a 1:19.68 and feel that 1:17s are what I will aim for. I love drifting through those first 2 left-handers

Hey jetman, don't mess with the farmer's daughter. Her old man is real good with a shotgun
And you must be coming into that corner WAY too slow if you spotted that

Hey D_Man, here's some lap time to aim for:

F1 1:14.068
FD 1:15.709
FV 1:24.147

All in the Ferrari of course.

Thumbs Up Great track!

btw I?ve seen that layout before? There was a similar track (long straights, 180 degree following). with wider corners, banked more nascar style

Anyone remember?

Nice one Strava.

I need to go up into the loft and get my Scalextrics going again!
I had a pretty cool 13m layout once. Lapped it in 5.1 seconds as well

Sweet. Is that in your house or at some sort of club?

I had my layout on a board that size too.

Sweet cars by the way

Hi pirenzo
That's just my home layout. Stuck out in my garage.
I recently expanded it with a second 4x8 table. See pic

The cars are all RTRs from Ninco, Carrera, Fly & Scalextric. I tend to get all the old "classic" cars. Jag xk120,porsche 356, tr250, that kinda stuff. And my avatar is one of my 67 gp slot cars. Built from a body kit & misc parts

Hey D_Man , have you tried the FD setup I put in the trak zip? It might help shave off a tenth or 2

I have a couple of my dads cars.

A '62 BRM and Porsche.

Neither work. They need motor brushes and we can't find spares. Same goes for his FWD Mini Cooper

My cars are made up of some F1 cars, a couple of rally cars and 3 or 4 sportscars.

Oh, and some ridiculously fast Opel Calibra's. They have super sticky magnets, and you can fly round virtually any corner flat out with 'em. They are so low to the track that you can hear them clattering over the joins in the track.

OK Strava I put the Ferrari in the garage and took the Lotus and Brabham for a spin I am down into the 1:16s in both with the Brabham slightly faster on 1:16.73 That is as good as I can do in the FDs so I might try the F1 cars now

Thanks for providing such a fun track
