Perfectly it should look like this: BMW's and not BMWs.
But I guess that's one thing no one else will notice.

?h sorry, but "BMWs" is right. There's no better way to write it. It's only plural, there mustn't be an apostroph. It's the the same way you write "Autos". You'll never write "Auto's" - I hope so!
Edit:
Tja, ?h.... I've found this at http://www.mvr-racing.de/:
". . . BMW?s die es nur einmal gibt!"
So, write it as you want!

Klopfer that is wrong too
BMW is a short version of Bayrische Motoren Werke and thats why there is an apostrophe.
and on the McLaren weren't the ... and an apostrophe, so the Text: "BMWs, die es nur einmal gibt" is right

I don't know what was written on the McLaren, but I do know the german language and so "BMW's" was and still is correct.
If BMW was a normal name (like Audi) there would be no need for an apostroph, but as Misanthrop already mentioned: It's a short version of the name "Bayrische Motoren Werke" and so BMW's is absolutly correct.
Another example would be: PC (for Personal Computer). The plural would be PC's and not PCs.
German language - difficult language.

That's interesting; in English, the apostrophe is only used to show possession, and the plain "s" is only plural. This doesn't keep careless people in this country from using either one indiscriminately but there you are; different language, different rules.
As an American humorist once quipped, "The apostrophe is often used to warn the reader that an S is coming up at the end of the word."

I must admit that we have lots of rules (and even more exceptions) in our german language. The language itself isn't too difficult, but the grammar is often a horror for those who are trying to learn the language. And so I'm happy that german is my first language and english the one I can use in most of the message boards and not vice versa.
That doesn't mean that I don't make mistakes in the english language (I do make lots of them), but I wouldn't want to see myself posting in german when english would be my first language... that would mean even more mistakes...
I have a czech girl friend and she really knows most of the words, but sometimes she has big problems with the german grammar and so you have to read and listen very carefully or otherwise you could get into big trouble.

looking good there!
Just one question.. why does the Mercedes look "small"? It is as large as the other cars? In reality it's quite a large car.

Thanks! I haven't yet gotten to adjusting the overall size of all the cars. The Panoz is way to big for example.

Here's the rework of the McLaren. The overall size is now accurate, as well as the other measurements. Atomkopf has attached the following image(s):

Seeing how the Mclaren is my all time favorite car and I'm eagerly awaiting this mod..do you have any cockpit shots of them?
A suggestion if you guys don't mind... with the horendous scale of the helmet/body maybe you shoud blacken the cockpit from the outside view so only helmet and hands/wheel show. Just a thought.
You guys are doing an outstanding job and I can't wait

Well,we throught about that and finally we have a conclusion that we should show the whole body in the cars as it looks better than just the helmet and hands(I think it's quiet weird to have only hands and the wheel moving around in the car but no arms and body... ) Also,we can paint some suits for the drivers.
We will post some Cockpit shots as soon as they're ready
