LFS WIN XP "theme"
so as someone requested before some time if someone could do LFS THEME ....
i wanted to do it, but ive realised, that....the theme (windows, taskbar, buttons, etc) ..... how do you want it to look like lfs? you know what i mean....... so i decided to do a "style" .. a theme i found on net which quite fits to a lfs wallpaper (isnt made by me, he is mentioned in credits) and i made graphics of a LFS samurize config (script creator is also in credits) DOWNLOAD - read !README.TXT before doing anything!!!! i have also added to samurize small system monitor and a links to lfs related pages (you can open them by rightclicking on them) .....it also contains a RSC headlines enjoy

Looks nice, but look at the following. I already looked into the ini and config files and changed the paths according to my needs, but... take a look

Hi Vykos, you need to edit the LFSPersonalStats.vbs
Near the top there is a variable to change between miles and kilometers. The version Don published has "Kilometers Driven" as default so Im guessing you use miles? Just change it to "Miles Driven", that should fix it

Yeah, somehow... I use Kilometers, but im not using IE, so maybe cookie was set wrong or whatever. Switched to KMs on LFS-website again, and it works fine now, except the CPU-Usage... always shows 0%.... And I have SETI running... Thanx so far, mantis9, nice script! |

Hi Mantis9,
first of all, thx for your work I tried to use your script too, couple of days ago, but i have the problem that it doesnt give me any output. I mean there is no error message, nor any stat shown on the screen, its just blank. I edited the .ini files for my need, to fit my folder desitinations, changed km to miles, added my nick etc, but it doesnt work. I figured out that there is no data collected in the lfs and rsc .txt files, maybe u have any ideas to solve this problem. I just was wondering if it is possible implementing something, to display the offline hlvc laptimes, too? thanks in advance, greets oSIRis |

No problems Vykos About the cpu thing, I had to edit the config in Dons package to get it to work, he says you dont have to in the readme but it points to Dons cpu! Maybe this will work for you, click on the copu usage meter, click on "Change Counter", I then got a message saying "Unable to connect to machine", click OK, click OK again.
Philip, do you have the version in Dons package? The old version on the Samurize site didnt work, the new version was only done yesterday. It should be V1.2, if its still not working, let me know and we will work something out. The offline hlvc thing should be no problem, although Ive said that before Give me a couple of days...

Cool, glad it worked
It took me less time than I thought to do the hlvc version You can get it from the Samurize website I had a few small problems, its all in the readme, if there is demand I could do a version with a track filter as well, which would solve its current limitations. Go look

OK, now I have an idea... a switch between the buddys on LFS-world and showing their times for a chosen car.... So I dont have to check LFS-world all the time, if I want to see, who of my LFS-buddies did another great time... I just want to keep you active, mantis...

First of all, check you have the latest version, its at the bottom of this page.
File not found in the config means the text file is not being written or the meter is looking in the wrong place. Check the text file meters point to the right file and check the file exists, C:\Program Files\Samurize\Configs is the default location.

Hmm, something is stopping the text file from being written,
do you have any anti-virus software runing that might stop it? I have to authorise every script I run once, but I get a window pop up telling me about it. Not sure what else it could be......

Rainmeter
is there any way to do the same or similar thing with Rainmeter like Samurize do? So I am using Rainmeter, and I don't want to use both things, so they are similar

Ive never used Rainmeter, I just downloaded it, looks nice! I checked the manual and the forum, but Im not sure how to make it display info from a webpage. I think it might be possible to write a plugin to do it but I dont have access to the tools at the moment
