Repus Petit Hatchback

Since I`m on the verge of losing interest in this i decided to release it today and it will shortly be followed by a revised version of the cabrio. It`s been in the works for quite some time but the more i work on it...the less I like it. I have to say that this is my complete car to date, the car which i`ve wasted most of my time on.

The rar contains the petrol and diesel versions of the car and a folder containing spec sheets for all the availible engines. Each car folder has a separate folder from which you can choose one of the 3 trim levels:

1. Standard : This is the most basic of the 3 trim levels. It still gets the big central LCD but that`s pretty much it.

2. Premium: This mid-level trim version has body coloured mirrors, plush seats, alloy wheels, electric rear windows, dual zone climate control and traction control.

3. D-Lux: This is the highest spec trim level, which gets a redesigned central console with satelite navigation, leather seats, wood trim and some exterior chrome details.

I`d like to thank all the people who helped me develop this car, because without them I could never have finished it on my own.

EDIT:

If i can be bothered i`ll upload some more colors for the body, leather and the plush seats in the mid spec version...

cars are missing all wheels but front right in mac version. sounds only work for diesel versions. other sound issues on petrol versions of the Toro, and a few other of your cars. other than that nice car!

Can`t help you there. Maybe someone who`s got a Mac knows how to fix the problems.

Hi,
it's a very nice car. Good design and good handling.
I just have 2 comments:
-the fuel consumption is a very good idea but needs to be improved : when we turn, the consumption decreases. And isn't 20l/100 km too much for a 80ch car ?
-for the design, front lights are on the same surface than the front part of the vehicle. I think it would be better if it was on a backward step. Anyway, excellent job for the design, i like it a lot !

Thanks for the release !

Don`t download it. What`s your problem anyways?

EDIT:

I`m curious which engine in the lineup is your favourite, so please don`t forget to say that too .

Take a read of Rule 2.7:

2.7 - Messages posted in forums should be topical to the relevant forum or thread and should make a positive contribution to the discussion.
However, on the flip side of things, Lipton, you shouldn't be posting a new thread every time you have an update.

Well sorry, but the first versions i released were betas as i wanted feedback to improve the final version of the car. I can`t remember but i`m pretty sure i had "beta" in the title of each thread apart from the RPE`s.

Cheers.

I love this car. Good work!!!

But, I can only drive the diesel engine. When I go to drive the petrol version, I haven't the orignal interior, no wheels, no steer...

Is there anything I do wrong???

The design works, especially the proportions are more conventional than other Repus designs.
On the inside, the level of detail is OK with switches, seatbelts and such. A driver model would be nice of course. There are some ergonomic issues I can see for a real life version. The interior door handle might be too close to the torso and the windscreen wiper control opposite of the driver, behind the shifter seems impractical to me.
The rear light cluster doesn't give enough space for the brake lights.

The body texture could use some more contrast, also the wheels. There are no seperate exterior dials for the diesel models, so the red zone doesn't match. The Premium level diesel looks best to me with the red/black/silver interior, a regular steering wheel and the 7-spoke wheels.

The handling characteristics are mostly aiming for safety, with only the most powerful versions allowing some backend swinging.
The traction control is best suited for the intermediate engine choices, higher spec levels could use a seperate setting.
The brakes are a bit too much like an on/off switch, makes smooth driving difficult, especially for a daily driver.
Overall, the cars feel right for the kind of vehicle and I'd choose the 1.6 16V petrol version or the the 1.5td 8V diesel, because they offer the best balance with the chassis and tyres.

With the amount of model choices, it would've been a good idea to use batch files or Raven variants. The cars also produce a lot of qlog errors that are most likely showing the reasons for the Mac problems and could easily be fixed.

edit: all models share the same ID, which must be unique per car however.

sorry, I didn't mean you had to do anything, it was more directed at Cosmo/Lipton to see if they could do anything about these errors. I'm a n00b too at this stuff

It is a very very great car. Good engine, enough power (maybe to much...). But the car have a lot of understeer when you've a sharp corner...

Test Repus Petit with petrol engines

So. I tested Repus Petit with all petrol engines (test with diesel I'll write next time) and all equipment variants. At the beginning I write sth about chasis and interior. Outside car looks very nice but in combination with steel rims look uninteresting. The best choose is 8-side alu-rims. Car have 3 equipment variants:

- Standard
Very sad interior, but it's elementary variant for Petit.

- Premium
Similar to Standard variant with ugly materials on seats (Sorry Lipton ). In stronger engine variants we have nicer leather, beige steering wheel

- D-Lux
Much wood in interior, with looks from Ikea. I doesn't like that Interior.

Repus Petit have 5 petrol engines:

- 1.3 12v
Very slow. I'm not recommend
- 1.6 8v
Faster than 1.3 but it's not fast
- 1.6 16v
The best choose for normal, quiet driving
- 2.1 20v
very big turbo lag. Engine have 500 ccm more displacement and only 15 hp more.
- 2.6t
The best choose for sb, who like very fast driving. Very good on raceways.

Ofcourse my choose is 2.6t Premium

My mark: 6/6

Diesel test soon

Repus Petit Review On All Variants/Models

I have just downloaded the repus petit and i have test drove all the variants/models. i think this car is excellent. i will be reviewing the ENGINES and i will talk about the models after:

Petrol Engines:

1.3 8v = a bit slow but ok for a quiet drive and good economy.

1.6 8v = not bad good around corners because the engine is light.

1.6 16v = good for general cruising and enough power.

2.1 20v = Good for quick laps and a bit heavy on corners. Also has a good amount of power.

2.6T: Allot of fun but a bit heavy. Fun on straights!

Diesel Engines:

1.3 td 12v = a bit slow but good for economy.

1.5 td 8v = enough power and good on corners.

1.5 td 16v = My favorite! more than enough power and great around corners!

2.0 td 8v = more than enough power but a little bit heavy. also has good torque.

2.5 ttd = pleanty of power and torque. a bit heavy on corners but allot of fun. Great engine and sound!

Models:

Standard = very basic but still fun.

Premium = Best model with nice interior and exterior!

D-Lux = Exterior ok but interior not so good.

It would be good if you made a 1.5/1.6 td with 130-140 bhp! and a 3.0 v6 td/ttd would be alot of fun!

Overall 10/10!
